More Important People

A well needed visit to the girls' honorary Great-Grandpa, Harold Rector

Bailey & Raegan were so tuckered out after shots today they fell asleep playing

Raegan & Bailey watching their "friends"

The girls have been learning and doing more everyday... growing up too fast as far as Mom & Dad are concerned :-) Yesterday they had their 2 month check-up. Little did I know that this meant shots, shots, and more shots. They had one oral vaccine each and three injections in their little chubby thighs. We learned that they have clear lungs that work quite well. Both were weighed at this visit. Bailey (the oldest & biggest at birth) was 8lbs 5oz. Where Raegan was up to 9lbs 4oz passing up the older sis. Also Raegan was I think about 1/2in longer.

We stopped in on the way home to see a very important person, Mr. Harold Rector. He has sort of taken a role as a grandfather to us kids over the years and so we call him an honorary great-grandpa to the girls, we love you Harold!

Raegan & Bailey have really started to study things and pay attention more. The therapist in me works with them constantly to develop their baby skills. When we shake a rattle in front of them from side to side working on visual/audio tracking it looks like they're watching a tennis match, it's hilarious! We haven't managed to get that on video yet but hopefully we can soon.

  1. Matt and Stephanie,
Thank you so much for visiting with Daddy. He was obviously thrilled to see the babies. He tried to come to the hospital several times when the girls were born, but it just didn't happen since he was still so weak. As you can tell from your visit, he is much improved.

He thinks the world of you and your family. You all have been blessings to him and he talks about you all frequently.

Continued good health to the girls and I am loving the blog!
    Best regards,
    Nancy (Rector) Roberts
